the cranks do just fine on the mountain, the cranks have nothing to do with what type of riding it is they are geared hard, (fork,shock, rims, tires, handlebars all play a factor and are all dh/fr)

better, better components and like twice as much money to buy just stock.. lighter, better geometry, less travel for jumpin, but you can still free ride it nicely
